  • The Wrangler 4xe is equipped with a PHEV powertrain with 2.0L DOHC DI Turbo I4 engine that delivers 375 horsepower, 470 pound-feet of torque and goes 0-60 mph in 6 seconds.
  • This electrified SUV offers up to 31.5-inch water fording capability, and a towing capacity up to 6,000 pounds.
  • Jeep Brand electrification also offers near silent, pure EV-driven performance when in Electric mode.
  • Jeep® Brand plug-in hybrid technology pairs a traditional gas engine with incredible electric motor performance.

Electric Mode
Electric Mode allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The Wrangler 4xe can run on this mode for a distance of up to 214 total miles on a full charge.

Hybrid Mode
Hybrid Mode combines torque from both the PHEV powertrain with 2.0L DOHC DI Turbo I4 engine and the electric motor. In this mode, electric power is consumed first.

Esave Mode
eSave Mode prioritizes the 2.0L engine, saving battery charge for later use. When power demand is low, the engine shuts off.

Regnerative Braking
This feature allows the battery to be charged when decelerating and braking.

 
Recharge at Home and Work
Jeep hybrid SUVs have two simple charging solutions to choose from.

  • The Level 1 (120V) charging system comes standard across all 4xe models and plugs into a typical household outlet.
  • The available Free2move Charge Level 2 EV Charger is simple to use and offers a faster charge than Level 1. The Level 2 charger can fully charge the battery in approximately 2 hours versus 12 hours.
